Friend of Castle Awesome, Brisbane director Scott Hamilton, has been getting a fair bit of attention recently for a little short film he made a couple of years ago.
Bad Moon Rising is a nifty little 8 min werewolf short film, that was made as a teaser for the award winning feature film scrip of the same name.
I like this film, not just because a few of the Castle Awesome team who work in the film industry were part of the crew, including myself; and not just because I owe Scott Hamilton $10 and am hoping if I say nice things about his film he'll forget,
It's because a lot of heavy weights genuinely want to be involved in the making of this feature film & it's making people really excited.
Including this obscure blog which nobody has ever heard of; Ain't It Cool News - who has recently shared their love of this short film because it marks a return to tangible filmmaking (i.e.. not overrun with shitty cgi) and a quality horror film made by people who actually want to make a good film, not just some hollywood cash cow.
