This premiered at the Call of Duty XP event over the weekend. This is what a lot of young to middle aged males will be doing from the end of this year till the next release in the Call of Duty franchise.
After all these years I still haven't prestiged on any of them.
Bonus -
This is the game you should be playing up until the release of Modern Warfare 3. It's called Deus Ex - Human Revolution and it's absolutely brilliant. Be aware that you don't have to have played the first two as this is a prequel, however there are some nice nods to the first game.
